![]() ![]() Someone at SuperUser suggested I write a script using GNU's "find" and the Win32 version of some checksum tools. I can't find software to do that - see my post at SuperUser I don't care about the sub-directories - I will sort it out later - I just want the unique files. I want to copy non-duplicate files from the CD into a new directory on the hard disk. The file names of identical files are not the same, and are in sub-directories of different names. If your network changes the IP address of your BluOS device, this will disconnect the mapped drive, as the network location of the player changed.I need to copy files from a set of CDs that have a lot of duplicate content, with each other, and with what's already on my hard disk. Back up time varies and can be longer depending on the size of the Music folder. You can do this by manually copying the files from the Music folder to an external storage device / local folder on your PC. It is strongly recommended to create regular backups of the contents of your VAULT. This may take longer to complete, as the old index will be deleted and a new one will be built from the start. If the library has not updated, you may try to close and re-open the app to refresh, If the problem persists, navigate to Help > Diagnostics > Rebuild Index to rebuild the index. You may also navigate to Settings > Music Library to monitor the progress of the update. Once complete, the player’s LED turns solid blue. Note: The duration for indexing depends on the size of the music library.
